:3 I finished this after...what? 2 weeks of doing nothing but studying and satisfying my sheith-addiction?
I don't know why but I had to restart this for like 5 times, because I never liked how their facial expression turned out after drawing the outlinings. :/
Anyways... this is the scene from "Rising Storm" where ThunderClan camp catches fire and Fireheart saves little Bramblekit. In hindsight it feels like this was supposed to be a key-scene between these two. Even if Fireheart never really trusted Bramble until he saves him from Hawkfrost, this has to be the very first huge step into the right direction.
I mean... until this scene Fireheart always refered to Bramblekit as "Tigerclaw's son" and I do believe that - somewhere deep down in the darkest corner of his mind - he had to fight himself over the decision to save him. Because he's the son of Fireheart's mortal enemy and the possibility that he might take after his father is quite high.
But in the end he overcame his fears and Bramble turned out to be the world's "okayest cat" ever coming from that bloodline anyway. xD I guess this was some kind of prelude for their future relationship and I like to think that for Fireheart this was like a small liberation from Tigerclaw's grip on him.

I hope you like this little piece here. I'm really sorry I didn't upload a new comic page, yet. But these star effects and light settings and stuff are really killing me. :<
