OMG o.o... I'm really sorry, I wanted to upload this on friday ( as I always do) but I'm stuck with loads of work at the moment -_-' I hate that.
But now to the pic: Some of you know, that I never read more than the first series of the Warriors books. But now I really feel like giving the following series a second chance. I got a little curious about Ashfur, 'cause dA is full of pictures of this scene from "Long Shadows". So here's my illustration of the scene, when he steps between Squirrelflight and her, or better Leafpool's kits, to kill them in the fire and let Squirrelflight suffer as much as he did. Most pics on dA show him with an evil grin on his face, I don't know if he really did smile in the books, but I believe, that it wasn't satisfying for him to tell his love about his feelings and how his love finally turned into a torture for him, because she never loved him back the way he loved her. What finally turned his love to hate, and what let him decide to kill somebody close to Squirrelflight. I think it was quite hard for him, too :/ Eventhough it's quite psychopathic to be like "Okay, you don't love me and it hurts me so much, that I'll kill someone close to you, so you'll feel as bad as I do."... It's like an eye for an eye

Anyways, I hope you like it

I think I'll do some more Ashfur fanart in the future... just because I loved the quote "His only fault was to love too much." :3

It's nice that he ends up in Starclan

I always hated that storyline because it was so unlike him and his liking of Squirrelfight kind of came out of no-where.. :/

She never loved Ashfur
They were never mates
Ashfur is Squirrelflight's uncle
She never wanted to hurt him.
But he overreacted like a little child
He was better in the first arc
