I'm so sorry. I'm so SO sorry! I promised to make some Lionheart-fanart... but everything that came to my mind was this little something. u_u'
These are Crowfeather and Nightcloud and it's a scene from the third series, from "Outcast" to be accurate. As far as I can remember it's when Squirrelflight and Hollypaw come to collect Crowfeather for their journey to the mountains. Sorry, really, I know I promised something else entirely, but today I listened to Tom Odell's song "Another Love" and it just reminded me of how long I wanted to draw some Crow-Night-fanart to it. Though I didn't remember what exactly it was that Nightcloud said - I think it was something like "Be safe" or "Take care" - I remembered what Crowfeather's reaction was. If you can call 'staring abscently into the distance' a reaction... -_-
At this point it got quite clear, how his relationship to Nightcloud and his son was. He tried to care, at least for his mate - if he ever even pretended to feel something for Breezepelt he, in my opinion, failed miserably -, but his thoughts and his heart were somewhere else. And that's what ruined Nightcloud and Breezepelt in the end. So despite it being a rather small and random scene, in my eyes it was one of the most powerful ones to describe Crowfeathers state of mind.
